A day in the life of…

Introduce yourself

Hi, I’m Mitchell, I’ve been at BA for 7 years now. As an Account Manager for one our of leading clients, my typical day in our Manchester HQ looks a like this…. At 7:50am I get on my bike and cycle in Manchester’s (mostly) treacherous weather. I sit down at my desk, with a nice coffee at 8:30-9am. 

What is your day like?

My mornings are often spent looking at our helpdesks to see what enquiries have come in for either our stock, or custom enquiries. I’ll then mostly be in internal meetings collaborating with our design and merchandise teams, creating a range of seasonal products to go online for our stock program. My client is a forward-thinking, stylish company, so product choice, colour and logo placement to their taste and demographic, is key to making a range desirable.

After taking a break for lunch (in which I spend my time with various departments, talking music, football, house-renovations etc.), it’s weekly check-in’s, whether that’s with my internal team of Account Execs, Account Director, or externally with key client stakeholders, keeping internal and external teams up to date on the account performance and happenings, but also listening and sharing ideas is key to successful account performance.

Then it’s back on the bike for another treacherous ride home…
